Digesting Statements via Email
Some carriers and FMOs send your commission statements directly to your inbox — usually with a subject like "Here’s your money" and the statement attached.
This is ideal because ComTrack can automatically detect these emails and Digest the attached statements without you lifting a finger.
How to Set Up Email Digest
- Go to your Retrieve page in ComTrack.
- Click the "2FA" tab.
- Select "Connect email account" and follow the prompts to link your inbox.
What Happens After Setup
Once connected, ComTrack will:
- Create a label in your inbox called "Commission Connector"
- Create an automatic filter for known carriers and FMOs that send statements via email
- Apply the "Commission Connector" label to those emails
Any email with the "Commission Connector" label will:
- Be scanned by ComTrack
- Have its attachments automatically Digested into the platform
Manual Labeling
You can take control at any time:
- To force Digest: Manually apply the "Commission Connector" label to any email containing a statement
- To customize filtering: Manually create or edit your inbox filters to control which senders get labeled
Important Note on 2FA
Emails labeled "Commission Connector" are also scanned for 2FA codes used when logging into carrier portals that require two-factor authentication.
This means the same label helps both:
- Digest emailed statements
- Retrieve carrier portal logins automatically
